Adding a DNS A record at GoDaddy and Enom
An A record associates a domain name with an IP address. For example, www.purls.tv may point you to 75.144.212.61, to point to a new IP Address, point your A record to 208.109.218.112. This will now point your domain name to traxmail.com.
If your registrar is Go Daddy, we'll take you step by step through adding an A record.
Before you attempt to make this addition, you'll need two pieces of information:
1. Your new host name. From the example above, the host name would be 'traxmail.com', using 208.109.218.112 as the A record.
2. The IP address. This will be a set of 4 numbers separated by periods. From the example above, the IP address would be 208.109.218.112.
